This is because they do not absorb moisture and do not hold in your own body’s warmth. Cotton is the cheapest to purchase and the most common because of their versatility. This fabric can be combined with nylon or polyester to give you more of a stretch to your pyjamas while still absorbing moisture and holding in your body’s heat.

When choosing your adult pyjamas you should take into consideration the fabric used in their construction. Cotton fabric tends to shrink when washed as well as bleed for the first few washings.
