You can get a one piece pyjama in several different fabrics. For example, you can get them in fleece, which is not only very soft but also very warm. If you are looking for fabrics that are cooler, then you can choose from a waffle knit, sweatshirt-like fabric, velvet, or cotton flannel. While you’ll stay warm in any of these, you’ll be cooler than you would if you decided to go for the fleece. You can also get them in many different colors and designs. For example, you can choose just about any solid color you can think of. Most people prefer bright colors such as pink or light blue, but you can get darker colors like reds, greens, and purples as well. You can choose simple designs such as flowers or hearts, or even just multi-colored polka dots. You can also choose more detailed designs, such as wolves howling at the moon or deer.

Since one piece pyjamas are just that – one piece – and zip up the front, many people don’t want to wear them because they are afraid that it will be difficult to go to the bathroom. This isn’t true however. You can choose to get your footed pyjamas with a drop seat back or not. A drop seat back, also called a trap door, has elastic at the top and is held shut with Velcro. The upper flap tucks in like an envelope, so you can easily do your business but you won’t have drafts. If you choose to get a pair without the drop seat, then you’ll simply have to take them off, but that really isn’t a problem either.

Usually there are feet in a pair of one piece pyjamas. Usually the soles have some kind of anti-slip traction, such as dot, and many are double layered to keep your feet toasty warm. Some types let you choose between having fleece or cotton in the feet. Fleece will keep your feet warm while cotton will be cooler. You can also occasionally find them without feet, which is perfect for those who hate to have their feet covered!
